Live as a designer

There’s really a worthy article from WISDUMP that i came across from the link provided at 9rules. (9rules is a blogging community focussed on providing quality bloggers and articles instead of blog for money, they did it all for passion)

Like many other blog, you may not be impressed and wondered what makes this blog worth your time to stay and read. But look, there are phrases down in this article “Designer’s Ego” that stunned me,

“…The first one is that you need to be your own harshest critic…Hopefully you don’t think your design is done because it looks like another popular site…”

“…Every once in a while you may get some jackass telling you how horrible everything looks. Why is he saying this? Who knows and who cares. When taking criticism there is always going to be signal and noise. Filter out the noise. Listen to others. Grow as a designer…”

That is what I call quality writing, not a jumble of mess and texts. But that’s just the beginning, look deep into the blog you’ll find yourself inspiring by really good thoughts being put into every post made. Programming in an art, another post made from there that might change your perception on how you look at programmers, these days.
