I came across few meaningful sites from The Global Fund which are established to fight epidermic diseases. Some of the interactive sites are pretty interesting and it actually suprised me that they used a really contemporary idea to encourage people to participate in the program/donate. There’s are some that so good that i’m down with awe.

First there is Hope Spreads Faster Than AIDS. You can give in some support by promoting the site through some banners. It’s really interesting to see the idea is implemented on the web which using an integration of rally, petition, and Google Maps. I mean, that’s really some good web put to use. Reminds me of g8rally.com.

Digging into the site I’ve found that they have another project that aid into the fund support of the organisation to help the unfortunates. Change Me. Very interesting idea that every 10usd will be donated on every picture that is submitted to the site with a caption. (Pictures provided with Getty Images). Who’d ever knows such a combination could work? They proved it!

Campaign For Real Beauty
As per the video say, it’s so interesting how much of the myth of extreme dieting will lead to a better beauty, but somehow, we have seen so much how the idea of ‘beauty’ distorted. Perhaps the video will able to explain more to you. Photoshop rules?

I think on the other hand I’m happy because to see how much of a good quality work will affect people, and anticipate the audience wanting for more. Annually, it seems that Petronas’ TV commercial clearly touch a vast amount of our local audience which most of the time are down to earth real facts, reflecting on what really happen on us, instead of focussing on something, a story that is created fictionally. It might be just as simple as a visit back to the hometown, but the way they potray the message is unique, which then must have made them so good with it.

Talk about being creative in the advertising industry. I bet there has been countless beautiful ad we came across, but lately the LIA (London International Awards) churning out a lot of good ones. Ms.dewey has done it. Out of curiousity which no one would ever dare to question the realibility of how Google define a search engine, The Live team decided to give it a shot at how they can improve user experience by providing a person talking to you, yes, a talking search engine. But it seems the guys at WPTS (Webpage that sucks) didn’t like much of the idea that the video it’s taking most of 90% of the bandwidth while the result found are not that seems like, interesting. But as an experimental site, it’s good. Received an award from FWA it seems.

Yes, and we are moving towards web accesibility and standards. Easier to say than done, but we are working with full force towards the direction. Yes, and unlike the usual direction we headed to, we are now even focussing more onto providing you more functionality onto the site, the Directory and SnapShop, which the latter are an online marketplace and design product hunt-watch. Keep an eye as more development branches from there. Directory on the other hand is a hanful list of designers, agency, artists alike are compiled from all over Malaysia here. Join us if you have not. We are growing.
