YouTube Remixer
I know this is not very much of a design-related news but what I want to emphasize that here it is to come, the age where information is power and the power is at the user’s hand. With such big corporation to move togeher, Adobe + Google (Youtube), I’m eager to see what is going to happen in the next 6 month. It’s going to get more and more exciting, plus with the recent announcement of YouTube will be supported in the iPhone and AppleTV. Sweet. But one more point that it has proven Flash is that-strong to act as a video editing tool on the web.

startdrawing for LIVE EARTH now as we unite artists from all over the world to combat our climate crisis!
LIVE EARTH is a 24 Hour, 7 Continent concert series taking place on 7th July 2007 that will bring together more than 100 music artists and 2 billion people to trigger a global movement to solve the climate crisis.
Supporting this massive initiative, startdrawing.org aims to unite artists globally to contribute by doing what we do best – drawing! Submit your drawing in green and join us in spreading this green message to the rest of the world. We aim to break the World’s record for collecting the most amount of green drawings by 7/7/07, in conjunction with the launch of LIVE EARTH! On top of that, startdrawing.org will be fully dressed in green for the entire month of July!
Draw anything in GREEN and send it to us before 7/7/07 to join artists around the world in combating global warming!
Theme: Anything as long as it’s GREEN in colour!

The Official Logo for Olympics 2012 Unveiled
There has been a lot of hot debates between designers alike towards the controversial logo for the upcoming year 2012 Olympics in the UK. What is your say? But suprisingly there are other set of logos that did not made it to the limelight. And there are even some are beyond expectation of us. Critics even doubted the amount of effort that were put into designing the entire logo with its concept. via digg

Join us for Design Dayz - two whole Saturdays dedicated to design with designers from the UK and Malaysia coming together to give a series of talks and showcase their work.
Tapio Snellman of London-based digital media consultancy Neutral; Morag Myerscough of Studio Myerscough, two of the featured designers in Love & Money will be coming to Kuala Lumpur to give talks and participate in Design Dayz.
From the Malaysia end, we’ll have talks by accomplished designers such as Dato’ Jimmy Choo (OBE); graphic designer Kamil Yunus of Freeform Design; landscape architect Ng Sek San, Chin Weng Keong of award-winning interactive ad agency Arachnid, and more!
