What to do there?
You eat, you talk, you meet new friends, you share.
What to bring there?
Your ownself, a happy heart, bring some food! (It’s a potluck party!)

24th of August, 6:00 P.M. (after working hours)
Why to do this?
We felt that there is an urge to have such a warmfelt gathering once in a while to get everyone together, cakap-cakap and makan-makan, even inside a gallery that would be so formal. Why can’t we relax once in a while?

Born in Kobe, Japan, Yuka Yamaguchi is a self-taught artist which now resides in Saskatoon, Canada and always has deep interest in developing toys and arts for adult children. She believes in “turn everything around you cute and fun project”. Her unique set of illustration style which are mostly inspired from her imagination and being “accidental” has always influenced her to pursue the interest in creating all of her artworks. Plastique monkey is a gallery blog that has all her thoughts with shared with her readers and featuring her artworks
at the same time.

Baidu for Kids
Baidu is one famous search engine which has quite of a high reputation among the people in China. Literally meant like a Chinese version of Google. I came to stumbled across an article of an initiation from baidu to create a search engine for kids, which meant for them and safe for their homework usage. How safe is it? Do a search. On the other hand, I’m utterly speechless when I found out that they even pulled in a service that uses human-powered search. Give a phone call, and talk to the operator and they will do a search for you. It is called Yu-Yin? Amazing.

Facts & Fallacies on Black Google
To my surprise that I’ve not heard of this site that creates an opposite of what Google normally looks like. The reason? Simple, reducing the power consumption of monitor on all average household around the world. It makes sense since there are almost half of the globe of people using the search engine daily. But once question comes to mind that if it’s really accurate? Or does it help? There are even doubts of the effectiveness to have such site for LCD monitor, since some people claim power consumption are far higher to block lights emitting from the monitor. In fact, I’d think it’s for good cause no matter what people may say, and we may never know how much of an effect they can make from saving these little power consumption over a period of time multiplying by the number of people on the earth using computer? That explains a shocking fact that the current Apple site is on a black background. Some other similar sites? Blackle
