Design with Special Function
MayBank - There is a special feature for this envelop design. It serves multi-purpose function. There are 4 different greetings design dedicated for Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali and special greeting. I heard many compliments from some none-designer friends. It’s really a good try in terms of functionality.

Denney & Denney Design - beautiful art piece, the red envelop is designed with paper cut tutorial on it. You can follow the instruction printed and create a simple chinese paper cut.

Antalis - Sometimes things can be so easy. If you ever went to chinese herbal shop to buy some medicine, you can still find people package the herbs this way. One piece design for you to fold it your way into an envelop.

I like the Antalis (Mouse)! It’s very interesting to play with that tail! And I got that “Digi Yellow Pack” from God of Wealth. He was standing outside of Watson and giving away angpow packs (but no $$ in it) to drivers like me! :D
Happy Chap Goh Mei to DE members!!

Functionality aside, i think DIGI really went out of the box with their red packet design this year! But some elders thinks otherwise and even referred the design to some ‘minyak angin’ packaging! Oh well, design is subjective afterall! :)

Yeah! I agree. I have the OCBC Bank series on top. It’s impressive to me. I appreciate the effort of the design and expensive printing. Like it! Many of my friends ask from me for own collection.

Love the paper mechanism by Maybank and Antalis, made angpao receiving more interactive haha, and the more reason to keep the angpao as a souvenior too!

OCBC Bank which really impressed by the art direction and idea of series collection and yet the appreciation of design too! money changer one has an interesting idea, will be great if enhance the design style.Maybank one consider good try but design doesnt make sense for multiraces.DESIGN is important!!
