As one of the fastest growing cities in Asia, KL has design potential at a level comparable to other progressive cities around the world. With the rapid progress of creative talents and ideas right here at home, it is high time for KL to have a centre that can gather, centralise, showcase and promote the Malaysian creative economic design.
Entitled “Show + Shine”, Kuala Lumpur Design Week 2009 aims to encourage existing designers in Malaysia to improve the quality of Malaysian design exporting products to the world. The festival contains many follow-up projects to encourage the ideas for further practical usage in educational area such as Forum, Talk, Workshop, Installations and Exhibitions.

I think the KLDW 2009 will be very successful if they can be fair in selling the conference ticket! Why the Bumiputra can get a free ticket?
