Kuanth counts art and design as his absolute passion. Having worked as a senior graphic designer in the publishing industry for 5 years and a year in an advertising agency, he has gained exposure to all aspects of design work. In 2002, Kuanth left the agency to become a freelancer illustrator. A graphic designer and illustrator by profession, Kuanth believes in the sparks of occasional collaboration. As you can see his collaboration project such as Nokia Lamour, Motorola online, M1 Christmas Campaign etc, has been well received as well.
Kuanth对艺术与设计拥有绝对的热情。他是位资深平面设计师，在平面设计上拥有五年的经验，之后他任职于某国际广告公司，接触各式的设 计工作。2002年，他正式开始了他的插画生涯。身为一名平面以及插画师，他在全新的工作领域和各大著名品牌如诺基亚（L‘AMOUR系列），摩托罗拉，M1等等合作，从中获益不浅。

DE: Can you tell us a little about yourself?
DE: 能向我们简单的介绍你自己吗?
K: A daydreamer. Someone who enjoy creating different things from product to fashion to photography to dessert to graphic to illustration…. love to be surrounded by beautiful and creative things.
K: 我是个爱发白日梦的人，一个很享受创造不同的东西，无论是从产品到时尚，摄影，甜品，图形，插图…. 。 我享受那种被美观和富有创造性的事物围绕的感觉。
DE: What is mean creativity to you?
DE: 对你来说什么是创意?
K: Something to play and have fun with.
K: 好玩，有趣的东西。
DE: Who has been most influential in your progress as a Designer/Artist?
DE: 在你心目中谁是影响你最深的人?
K: Myself. Magazines and experiences from all people around.
K: 我自己，杂志和旁人的经验。
DE: There is a lot of experimental work in your portfolio. How important is experimental to you as a Designer/Artist?
DE: 在你的作品中，我们能找到不同的尝试和实验作品，能否谈谈这些实验作品对你有多重要?
K: Very important. It allows me to keep trying on something new. Breaking the limitation.
K: 十分的重要，因为能让我不停的尝试新的东西，超越及打破局限。
DE: Amongst all the work which you have produced, which one means the most to you and why?
DE: 在你的作品中，那一份对你的意义最深? 为什么?
K: No. I have always been looking forward for the next one, I think that will keep me moving.
K: 没有，我一直在期待更好的，這樣才能让我自己不断的进步。
DE: Has being a designer affected your lifestyle in anyway? If yes, how?
DE: 请问身为一位设计师，對於你的生活方式有什么影响?
K: None of which i can think of.
K: 没有。
DE: Have you come across any truly talented, up-and-coming designers whom we should keep an eye on?
DE: 你觉得有那位设计师特别值得我們留意嗎?
K: There’s too many out there. Jaime Hayon is someone I like the most at the moment. We shouldn’t limit ourselves like him to explore different media or such. After all, design should be more than graphic or 2D. When you put a same design on a different media, It can be full of surprises.
K: 很多，JAIME HAYON 是我近期最喜欢的，我们不應該局限于自己的思维和探索媒体，毕竟设计是无界限的，如果你把你的设计運用於不同的媒体，可能將有不同的效果和惊喜。
DE: What can you say about the Asia Art and Design scene?
DE: 你對亚洲的设计有何见解?
K: It’s still developing and it’s still very much leading by the Western world. Seriously I think that the government should really play a big role in promoting and educating the arts, like the TCDC(Thailand Creative & Design Center), they are really making arts and design to closer to the public. So when we start to appreciate arts, it should be easier to develop a unique art scene with its own cultures.
K: 亚洲的艺术和设计雖然还在不停的发展中，但還是被西方国家主导著。我覺得政府方面应该支持艺术和设计，需要培育更多对艺术有天分的下一代，就如泰国的TCDC(泰国创意与设计中心)，他们是真正的把艺术和设计贴近大众。所以当我们开始學會欣赏艺术的时候，會比較容易發展出自己独特的艺术风格和文化。
DE: What gives you the greatest satisfaction as a Designer/Artist?
DE: 身为一位设计师，有什么让你觉得滿足的?
K: To be able to do something that I enjoy doing.
K: 做一些自己喜欢做的东西。
DE: What can you say about “Mistake by Kuanth.com”?
DE: 你怎样看待”Mistake by Kuanth.com”?
K: Mistake is the platform for me to explore the things
I wanted to do; it’s soft of putting me in balance rather than only doing the commercial work. And it allows me to puzzle up my weird and funny ideas in a concrete form. As for the name and the concept behind the name of Mistake, It can be experimental and something unusual.
K: Mistake by Kuanth.com是一个让我去探讨我自己想要的平台。它讓我能在商业与实验性中取得平衡，还能融入我的疯狂和怪异的想法与思維，因此命名为Ｍistake。
DE: What is your life purpose?
DE: 你的人生目标是。。。
K: To live happily. To travel more.
K: 快樂生活，到处旅行
DE: What would be a special treat for you?
DE: 你如何善待自己?
K: A great massage. Creme Brulee or super al dente pasta. Either one.
K: 按摩，Creme Brulee 或者爽口美味的意大利面。
DE: What is your viewpoint on relationship?
DE: 你对於感情的观点有何看法?
K: Good communication and Trust. And be yourself.
K: 好的沟通和信任，做回自己。
DE: Are you’re a right-handed or left-handed person? Do you think different situation can affect your creativity?
DE: 你是用哪边手写字? 你觉得不同的方式和环境会影响你的创作吗?
K: Right-handed but i wear my watch on my right hand too. Yes, happy environment give you positive energy.
K: 右手，我手表也是戴右边。快樂的環境給你積極的能量。
DE: Do you like coffee or tea?
DE:你比较喜欢茶还是咖啡?
K: I’m a tea lover.
K: 我是超级爱茶。
DE: Which country you would like to pay a visit? Why?
DE: 那个国家你最想喜欢去? 为什么?
K: South America and India, of its rich cultures and beautiful handcraft. Scandinavian countries, of its simple yet practical design.
K: : 南美和印度，因为他们拥有浓厚的文化和手工艺品。還有北欧 的简约设计让我很嚮往。
DE: How can you make the world a better place to live in?
DE: 如何营照一个很美好的世界？
K: To spread love.
K: 散发爱。
DE: What have you not tried to do, but would definitely want to try one day?
DE: 有什么事你很想尝试去做的?
K: To speak very fluent french to order a 6 courses dinner in France.
K: 我很想在法国用一口很流利的法语去点六道菜的晚餐。
DE: What can’t you live without?
DE: 你的生活不能缺乏的什么?
K: My dog Noody.
K: 我的狗NOODY
DE: What is your favourite day of the week? And why?
DE: 一星期中你最喜欢哪一天?
K: Everyday is the same. Since i work from home.
K: 对我来说天天都是一样，因為我开始在家工作。
DE: What books or magazines you normally read? why?
DE: 你平时阅读怎样的杂志和书?
K: Elle Deco UK, PPaper, Hintmag.com. Book wise should be something related with food.
K: Elle Deco UK, PPaper, Hintmag.com。书方面我比较喜欢阅读和食物有关的。
DE: From the elements, which are Sky, Tree, River, Sea, Cloud, Mountain and Wing, which are the best describe your current state or condition? What element do you choose to be? Why?
DE: 天空，树，河流，大海，云朵，山，和风，你觉得那个比较能形容现在的你? 为什么?
K: Sea. Unpredictable. Full of surprises and fun.
K: 海，因为难以猜测，充满了惊喜和乐趣。
DE: Last words of advice to all artist/designers out there…

K: To be yourself, enjoy what you are doing.
