Her illustration has a certain beauty that captures the essense of American, and in most of his work does cast somewhat unexplainable but distintive style of her, perhaps from the shapes and the use of colour. via boingboing

Amusing as always, Sandeep Makam’s 2wenty 4our advertising blog has a lot of hilarious posts on the latest creative submission from around the world. Shown above are one of the ad that caught my attention by its visual representation of something that we would normally take offensively, if spoken verbally. Another one that’s worth mentioning are the series of ad for WWF’s Recycle Nature, and this ad literally demonstrates of the idea of what we doesn’t want with our fridge.

创意灵媒

miyuluk_3.jpg

[Attentiveness to the everyday is the subject of my work. I have consistently made art-work out of everyday objects and activities. The notion of the everyday is different for each individual and cultural context. Nevertheless, it refers in a broader sense, to the familiar, and yet often disregarded, space surrounding and occurring around us on a daily basis. The everyday is everywhere and nowhere: it is everywhere when one looks at something and sees it; it is nowhere when one looks but sees nothing.

My work as a whole explores the as-it-is-ness of things and interconnectedness between objects and people. I see everyday posted as an accumulation of threads that connect us together, which point to the possibility of mapping a heterogeneous, diversified and complex totality. Herein, the interactions lie between the elements of the everyday, accessible only by attentiveness and microscopy. I shuttle and probe the interstices between objects and people to bridge, sew and shed light on the invisible threads. The works are grouped into sculpture, interactive performance, and time based work as shown in this space. ]

Outdoor commercial survey
How do you want to know if your potential customers like which one of your product? You ask them while they’re waiting for buses.

Have you ever thought to put accessibility in focus?

An agency which earned quite lot of recognition for the past 3 years in the U.K. And some of their work really amused me and kept me wondering for hours on how they implement the technology, especially the website http://www.getthemessage.net and also an interesting implementation for Adidas’s Impossible Story.

Yellow Pages
I’d hope that some of us might still remember the old good trusted Yellow Pages directory, in which Israel people are percepting that the media itself are old and outdated. Thus, there has been an initiation to rebrand the entire brand in a humourous and effective way to regain the trust and confidence. Well, some of the billboard are just literally funny.

amnesty.jpg
Amnesty : You Choose (Safe for work)
As far as we’ve seen the Amnesty advertisements, it has been sad and at certain point, depressing. But it’s really hard for the organisation to survive in a longer term without much help from the public. The series of banner, though disturbing, it’s really effective. Another more mild but hilarious banner. via Adland
